Goat Cheese-Topped Figs

Fresh figs are delicious plain, but kick them up a notch with some goat cheese, sweet-tart balsamic vinegar and a dash of black pepper.

Ingredients

  • Fresh Figs — 12

  • Goat Cheese14 Cup

  • Black Pepper

  • Balsamic Vinegar — 2 Tablespoons

  • Cutting Board

  • Measuring Cups

  • Measuring Spoons

Notes

  1. Serve these figs as a gorgeous party hors d'oeuvres, on a salad of mixed greens or alongside a roasted pork tenderloin. Use whatever figs you prefer. Pictured are brown turkey and tiger-striped figs.
     

Prep Steps

    Remove stems and cut figs into quarters without cutting all the way through.

    Fan figs out and stuff 1 teaspoon of goat cheese into each.

    Refrigerate figs until ready to serve.
